The World's Fair Park is easy to find. It is directly accessible from I-40/I-75 and it's near the University of Tennessee Campus and downtown Knoxville. It can be reached from a wide variety of parking choices. It has ample facilities, security personnel round-the-clock, and the comfort and convenience of restaurants and hotels nearby.

There are many restaurants located within a five-mile radius of the park, several within walking distance.

The World's Fair Park is accessible friendly.

The Security Building with restroom and security facilities is centrally located north of the Clinch Avenue Viaduct and east of the railroad. Additionally, restrooms under the west end of the Clinch Avenue Bridge are available for special events.

Local hotel chains include: Hampton Inn, Hilton Knoxville, Holiday Inn World's Fair Park, Marriott, Crowne Plaza Summitt Hill, and Four Points by Sheraton

The World’s Fair Park is owned by the City of Knoxville and operated by the Public Building Authority of the County of Knox and the City of Knoxville, Tennessee. The Park was the home of the 1982 World’s Fair. The Park is located near the University of Tennessee campus and downtown Knoxville. The Park has been redeveloped and contains many features characteristic of the 1982 World’s Fair, such as the Sunsphere, the Court of Flags, and the Tennessee Amphitheater. The site is also home to the Knoxville Convention Center. The Park consists of four major areas: The Festival Lawn, Lake Area, Performance Lawn and the Amphitheater. The Festival Lawn and Performance Lawn accommodate concerts and other outdoor performances and activities. All of the Park features and facilities combine to create an attractive destination for both residents and visitors.
